Baby Cribs
There are two types of standard baby crib, the single drop side baby crib and the double drop side baby crib. The single drop side baby crib has one side which can be adjusted or dropped down to ease the process of getting the child inside the baby crib. While double drop side baby crib has both sides that can be adjusted and dropped down. The double drop side baby crib is best placed as a free standing unit in a room, where as the single drop side baby crib is normally placed against a wall. Convertible baby crib is another practical option. This type of baby crib can be converted into a toddler bed, daybed or full sized bed. Buying a convertible baby crib is an ideal way to save some extra dollars in the longer run. If you opt for an elegant setting for your baby, a canopy crib is perfect. This has four post at the corners to hold a canopy frame. This attractive design can be very functional, providing security and protection, however, make sure that materials are secure and out of touch from your child.
Cribs for babies are either made of wood or of plastic, the structure of which is not foldable. These baby crib have a disadvantage in that parents may worry about an unintentional collapse of a foldable baby crib and therefore may not let babies play inside the baby crib. Although having a rigid baby crib is safe for babies, the baby crib will take up a very large space when in storage. These baby crib have another disadvantage, therefore, that families having not much space for storage cannot store the baby crib. From the previous description, it is noted that a baby crib having a rigid structure is unable to fulfill the practical requirements of modern families. Thus, a foldable device for a baby crib constructed in accordance with the present invention tends to mitigate and or obviate the aforementioned problems. The main objective of the invention is to provide a foldable device for a baby crib. The foldable device mounted on a baby crib enables the baby crib to be folded when a load there on is removed. The foldable device has an upper folding member so that an upper frame of the baby crib is able to be folded, and a lower folding member so that a lower frame of the baby crib is able to be folded.
The upper folding member includes a first housing having a first space defined therein for respectively and pivotally receiving two opposed ends of the upper frame arms, a pair of retainers each having a stepped part protruding outward, and a first extension integrally formed therewith, a receptacle having two pairs of through holes defined the rein for pivotally receiving the pair of retainers therein and a spring securely and respectively received between the pair of retainers. The lower folding member includes a plurality of joints and each of which has at least two bottom supports pivotally received therein, such that when the upper folding member is folded, the lower folding member will be able to be correspondingly folded and the size of the baby crib will be minimized. Therefore, after the load onto the baby crib is removed from the baby crib, the base of the baby crib will be able to be folded by a user by simply lifting a handle formed on to the bottom supports.
